COURSE OVERVIEW

Built for every stage of the RRB selection process

The Railway Recruitment Board conducts large-scale hiring drives across multiple categories, each with its own selection process. Most tracks involve one or two stages of Computer-Based Tests, followed by additional checks such as a Typing Skill Test, a Computer-Based Aptitude Test, a Physical Efficiency Test, document verification, and a medical examination depending on the post.

Our RRB programme is structured around this entire journey — not just the first exam. Students build subject-wise fundamentals first, then move into timed practice and full-length mock tests designed to match the actual CBT pattern, so the transition from classroom learning to exam-day performance feels familiar rather than sudden.

Exam pattern, eligibility, and notification dates are issued directly by the Railway Recruitment Board and are updated periodically. We recommend cross-checking the latest official RRB notification alongside your preparation here.
EXAM TRACK WE COVER

One programme, every major RRB category.

Core subjects overlap across tracks, so your preparation stays efficient even if you’re targeting more than one exam.

NTPC

Station Master, Goods Guard, Commercial Apprentice, and other graduate & undergraduate posts. Selection through CBT 1, CBT 2, and a Typing Skill Test or Aptitude Test where applicable.

Group D

Level-1 posts such as Track Maintainer, Pointsman, and Assistant roles. A single CBT followed by a mandatory Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

ALP

Assistant Loco Pilot — a technical-track post for candidates with strong mathematics, reasoning, and basic science fundamentals alongside technical aptitude.

JE

Junior Engineer — technical posts evaluated through CBT 1 and CBT 2, combining your engineering discipline with general subjects.

WHAT YOU’LL STUDY

The four subjects every RRB aspirant needs to master.

Mathematics

Number system, percentage, ratio & proportion, time & work, mensuration, algebra, and data interpretation.

General Intelligence & Reasoning

Analogies, coding-decoding, series, puzzles, and logical & analytical problem-solving.

General Awareness & Current Affairs

History, geography, polity, economy, and current events — consistently the highest-weightage section.

General Science

Class 10-level Physics, Chemistry, and Biology — a core section for Group D and several technical posts.
